When the Baltimore Colts left town like thieves
in the middle of the night they did a lot of damage to a city that has the best football fans in the NFL. One fan Loudy
Loudenslager who without any doubt was the number #1 fan in Baltimore. Loudy was truly broken hearted over the loss of
the Baltimore Colts football team. This city had a true love affair with their football team. Loudy and I use to
be at the end the only two people sometime to greet the team when they left or returned from away games. The main
reason Bullet Bob Irsay. The Irsay family never got to know this city if they had the city would have embrased them
with open arms. The team had some of the best football players to ever play the game. Lenny Moore, Art Donovan, Gino Marchetti,
Johnny Unitas just to name a few. Now there is a new chapter in Baltimore football with the Ravens.
This an organization that is first class from top to bottom. We have a wonderful owner in (Steve Bisciotti) who truly cares
about the fans and city. The former Ravens owner Mr Art Modell belongs in the Hall Of Fame and I only hope that
Baltimore Ravens fans will step up the pressure to get this man in the Hall Of Fame before he passes on. There is no comparision
with Bob Irsay and Art Modell. I went to my first Baltimore Colts game at age three (3) and never missed another home game
until they left. The following year the Indy Colts players paid my way to Indy for a game against Miami. I stayed with
linebacker Greg Bracelin. After all I was not upset with the players they were my friends. Now since 1996 I have another pro
football team to root for in the Ravens. I truly enjoy the Ravens and enjoy my friendships with the players. I
enjoy meeting a lot of you at the stadium on gameday. The last Baltimore Colts game was played December
18, 1983
