Every game I touch the left toe of Johnny Unitas in Unitas Plaza at M&T Bank Stadium. Johnny was a very close friend of our family. He use to call me to check to see how I was doing in school. When I was six (6) years old in 1959 Johnny put his cape on my back leaving the field. I still have that cape today. On the inside of the cape it's signed MY CAPE Johnny Unitas. I can't believe it's been so many years already since he passed. Johnny never turned down anyone for a autograph even if he was out with his family eating. They don't come any better then John Unitas. When he hurt his hand that bothered him the rest of his life the NFL turned their back on him.  I feel I will never meet another player like Johnny Unitas. I was so glad to have known him.
